Hey all.
As a new 3DS owner, I've been doing my research and there's a big divide on how to purchase games. The e-shop is currently tied directly to your hardware device and your downloads do not transfer over anywhere else. If your 3DS breaks, you lose your games and saves. It's a very huge factor to me vs. the convenience of playing multiple titles at any time and cutting release lines.
Right now I'm leaning on a physical cartridge (can use on any system if my 3ds breaks, possible resale value) but also feel that having Smash installed with me would be a very useful thing.
How do you all personally feel about carrying the game cartridge vs having it installed? Are you concerned about your system breaking and losing your purchase/saves?
