Flaming Splinter is a remake of the classic game Bomberman. You control a special forces soldier - the Demolition man. Planting bombs on the field, you have to clear the territory of the obstacles and hostile beasts. Bomberman is an action-puzzle game that's just a little unlike anything else for the NES. As the robot Bomberman, you have to run through each of the game's 50 mazes, planting bombs in the paths of the nasty creatures that live there. Super Bomberman is a great and popular video game featured as the first installment in the Bomberman series on the Super Nintendo Entertainment System. This is also the first four-player game to be released on the SNES, or Super Farmicon, as it is known in Japan. The gameplay is very simple.

Hudson has announced a sequel to their recently released (in the U.S., anyway) Saturn Bomberman game called Saturn Bomberman Fight!!. Due out in Japan in December, SB Fight!! is now completely polygonal and puts a heavy emphasis on battle (thus the name 'Fight!!').
Not much information is available on the game yet, but we do know that there are 14 playable characters, each with differing characteristics that affect play. The game takes place from an overhead quarter-view, and there are some new gameplay aspects that haven't been in previous Bomberman games. For example, each player now has a life bar that will slowly deplete as he or she gets hit (instead of the old-school one-hit kills). There's also a Bomb Gauge that slowly builds up. and when it's full the player can unleash a giant bomb that does massive damage. In addition, bombs can now explode in midair (when thrown), and the flames that pour down will cause damage to anyone they hit. There are new items and power-ups as well, but the old-school play mechanics are still around (like the Bomb Throw and the Bomb Kick). Currently it doesn't look like there are any dinos or kangaroos like in previous Bombermans, but the game isn't done yet.
Hopefully we'll see a U.S. release sometime in 1998, but don't bet your bombs on it.

Description of Bomberman
Dynablaster is an excellent PC conversion of Hudson's popular PC-Engine arcade/puzzle hybrid Bomberman (although why they had to change the popular name to this obscure title is puzzling). The game, which has spun off numerous sequels, was a huge hit for Hudson, although as usual this PC version slipped by almost unnoticed by PC gamers.
As outerworldly hero Bomberman, your goal is to drop bombs at the right spots to destroy wall segments and enemies, find extras to increase your bomb's fire-range and the amount of bombs you can drop at once. You must, however, be careful to not get hit by your own bomb's fire. When you find the exit to the next level, you can enter it as soon as all the enemies are cleared from the screen.
What makes Dynablaster (and its console brethren) so addictive is Hudson's masterful balance between arcade and puzzle elements. Similar to Tetris (but many times cuter), success in Dynablaster requires both quick decision-making, spotless timing, and good reflexes. And if that's not enough, the game's attractive graphics and seemingly endless surprises and extras that you will discover every few levels will keep you glued to the screen for that 'just one more level' addiction we all know too well.
If you're looking for a good quick-fire puzzle game with Japanese anime sensibilities, look no further than Dynablaster. And if you like the game, check out Interplay's Atomic Bomberman, the only sequel ever made for PC, and recent Bomberman games on Nintendo 64 and other console systems.
In short, Dynablaster is a true classic in every respect.

If arrows are not working, mess around with 'Player Input' or something like that in setup. Works for me.
